Here are a few words from our past guests
We had such an amazing stay at The Old Workshop. Not only was the accommodation absolutely stunning the setting was so peaceful and gorgeous. We had everything we needed and more. The rooms were clean and had the most comfortable bedding and towels. The kitchen had every utensil and appliance needed. Our kids had so much fun running around the garden and Forest. Also such a beautiful town with shops and restaurants. The location was perfect for castle visits and day trips. Sally and Tim were very helpful and very responsive. Cannot wait to come back and visit again.
What a wonderful creation you have achieved here. This is one of the finest places I have stayed at in many, many years. Thank you for the arrival goodies and your extended hospitality. I certainly made the right choice for being here for the National Cycling Hill Climb Championship yesterday.
Fresh flowers, scones, bread, milk in the fridge, cookies, eggs plus honey. It's the small, warm touches of kindness and hospitality that made all the difference to us - ok and the most wonderful of cottages, set in green woodland that embraced us on our walks into Corbridge.
Thank you for your warm welcome and hospitality. This week has been just what we needed - relaxing in such a beautiful spot surrounded by nature and so comfortable in the house. It's even better than we'd expected - photos can't do justice to the attention to detail and high spec finish throughout The Old Workshop.
What a gem of a cottage - just perfect/ We've stayed in numerous self catering properties both home and abroad but The Old Workshop wins! Everything and more was on hand. Thank you for all the wonderful and thoughtful touches of cake, honey, eggs, milk, coffee, tea etc, etc ...
A truly wonderful place to stay! What a lovely home for a few days before Christmas. So comfortable and well equipped, we've loved staying here. So much to see too ... Corbridge is lovely and only a short walk away, and the Roman Wall and museums are great to visit. Also enjoyed our trip to the coast - Holy Island and Bamburgh - amazing. We'll be back!
Thank you for a wonderful stay in this beautiful, cosy home. We really appreciated all the generous provisions on arrival. Our children were excited to see the 'secret' playroom and have made good use of the books and toys! We've enjoyed exploring Housesteads Roman Fort, Corbridge Roman Town plus Bamburgh Castle and the stunning beach there. We're sorry to leave such a peaceful location as we've felt so at home here.
